
J9 Vaughn (they/them) is a queer librarian and author who lives in a town with more dead than living. Their nonfiction publications include My Swan Song for Joy: a Sister Memoir, Fools in April in Chicago Story Press, and has short stories published in the Fragile Anthology, Ludlow Charlington’s Doghouse Anthology, and Whigmaleeries & Wives’ Tales, among others. They reside with their bestie/partner, a motley crew of rescued cats, random foster kittens, and an assortment of housemates.
